Happy New Years, Homesliceskilletnuggets. - JackdawGrey - 01-01-2015

So...

Yeah. Happy New Years. I might make a return, with a new application. It's been something like six months, I think. Long enough, perhaps. It's starting to feel like Mesalia was another chapter of my life entirely, long gone Finished. And I don't often turn the pages backwards to look where I've been, but maybe I can find a place for Mesalia in chapters yet to be written.

However... I really don't know what sort of character to make. Right now, I'm considering another shot at that brewer concept... Or maybe a merchant mariner of some sort. I also have a few personalities and backgrounds in mind, but I think I'll keep that a surprise.

However, I am definitely open to input and ideas, if anyone has any suggestions whatsoever, or opinions.

I like to make the personality first, decide on upbringing and background that made the personality, then make gender and profession.

Just a suggestion to take that approach.

Welcome back btw

Oh, trust me, I don't base everything around the profession. However, I already have a personality and background in mind. It's the profession that is most fluid, and the profession is something that one needs to really keep the setting in mind for... And I, well, don't know much about the current setting. So yeah.

Thanks for the input, though!

Here's how I make a character.

Take a naturally happy childhood and adolescence. Apply fire, both metaphorically, and literally. Repeat until your characters is damaged and ill suited for human contact.. then throw them into the setting with lots of other unstable people.

And that's how Rook, Jake, Daulton, and Cyrus were born.

I kinda went a bit too far with Daulton...

IMO, you went way too far with Cyrus too. I mean, he went from Liz's besty to top of Liz's hit-list in like twenty minutes. Set a new record. XD
