Regular players to be allowed Lucins and Xitians
BackgroundI won't lie, it's been debated through all of Mesalia's years whether the regulars should be allowed to play Xitians/Lucins or not. It have been debated, it have been tested, it have been opposed and it have seen failures... At certain times the playerbase have admittedly been so troublesome it's just not been an option to allow it. Other times the fact that the system of the powers can be complicated to understand have gotten in the way and other times regulation and moderation have been a problem. It has even failed miserably with staff members a few times.
There will be conditions
As it stands right now the staff have agreed that we won't allow Xitians/Lucins to first-time applicants. Whether this will change at some point or not depends on how this current introduction goes. Furthermore we will have a test-period of a full month. If we for some reason feel a need to redact a player's character after this time, we will. There's going to be a first-time-as-Lucin/Xitian-mandatory-talk with me where powers and race get a bit of a walkthrough and questions can be answered. Either over Skype or the server.
There's limitations
As we all know, Xitians aren't as common as Lucins and Mesalians. Their numbers are kept down. Same apply to Lucins as they're less than Mesalians, though they are more in number than the Xitians.
It may not work...
As with everything that undergoes a test it may fail. Whether it does or not, well... That's entirely up to you as player's responsibility. Abuse the opportunity and it's likely to be removed.

I should clarify that this does apply atm. The rule-page have however not been changed yet due to the maintenance job that the website is still undergoing.
