Daryel looks intimidating just at first glance, what with the scars and red eyes. At 6’3”(190cm~), he has decent height on him. The man’s body is fit and lightly tanned from slight outside work. The muscle on him is built from training. His body leans towards flexibility and agility as well, keeping a nice balance between it and strength. His bright red eyes settle in well against his black hair. Most of Daryel’s facial features are sharp and pointed. Exceptions Being: His edged nose, his chin squared off, and his eyes calculative or stern.

His normal dress consists of black leather tunic and pants. The latter held up by a brown belt. Under his tunic is a whiter, finer clothing. This underwear is his cooking garments, revealed only in the kitchen. When he’s cooking he typically ditches the black tunic top in favor of a better looking white top, meshing well with his black pants. They aren't particularrly fancy looking clothes but they do the job they need to well.

The Xitian warrior is usually donning his armor as he walks the street. A plate armor set with all the parts standard of a set. Breastplate, Faulds, Gauntlets, all of it. He does have a helmet as well, one with slit visors that can be lifted off the face if need be. He doesn't typically fancy the helmet less he's on a patrol of some sort however. 

Scars:

Daryel might be more friendly than most would consider a man his appearance and origin to be. While remaining mostly serious he can sometimes pull jokes here and there along with having a more laid-back attitude towards things. He isn't above becoming agitated and naive however. Known to skewer probabilities and try gutless things in either a bet to prove others wrong or out of neglect of consequence. He can get ahead of himself and ignore other's insights all too easy.

The Xitian has a certain dignity he holds up to and a light loyalty that some might appreciate rather than find annoying. Whether it's needed or not, he'll likely pressure others into accepting help. Even if they don't want it. The man likes settling disputes with small spars or duels. Doing this is even a sport for him in most cases. He's always out to prove himself, but also to feel the rush of combat. He's not a typically violent person outside of this however. An apology or other form of compensation easily substitutes his flavor of honor if the person isn't fit for such duels to settle disagreements. 

Daryel's voice is deep and determinate. It carries easy against others who might be talking as well. There's no determined accent to be had other than a few quirks in Common here and there due to his learning of Xitian.

Daryel has a bit of a clouded past. Raised by an old man whom taught him all he knew. There is not much more about the Xitian other than his constant want of a challenge. He was even known locally back in the Mainlands as the Challenger. Some report that he would often times call out people and duel them to the death, though there is no solid validity to these claims.

It eventually became apparent that he was not wanted in his own town, and was given a choice. Exile or Imprisonment. He was smart enough to realize that fighting the entire town was not an option, and opted to first leave the town and find elsewhere in the mainland; That was not what they meant by exile though. They more so meant to give him a good ride on boat to a place few ever would want to go. The Forbidden lands.

After having received written word from the mainlands Daryel had come to find out his old man was actually talking with some of his children and that they wanted to see him. Likewise, the old man also wanted to go out of his way to ensure they were safe. Packing up and telling only the two closer to him, Zarkaylia and Adreanna, Daryel set out to meet the family. 

As it turned out they did indeed need help settling into somewhere low key, much like what Daryel himself had to do earlier in life. Within a span of around half a year the Xitian helped them into hiding into a smaller community. Along the way he shared some of his tales to the extended family from the Forbidden Lands he was originally sent to. His name would be shared among the family of three, the child of which gave the young man a necklace to remember them by.

He was happy to be there for the most part but he knew that the mainland wasn't for him; Not after having been to Nighveil. After explaining it to them as such the Xitian set back off and got on a ship heading to that same location. Crazy to think that the first time he was forced to go. Now?
