I sepnt all this weekend playing tabletop games with friends. Yes it was awesome. I don't often play tabletop games cause I don't have any good ones and all the ones we played were our friends'. So...

Oh man! Oh man! Oh Man! I LOVE tabletop games. I have played all of those. If you're looking for more light hearted games with less RPG elements to ease people outside of our snuggly circle the following are amazing.
Cards Against Humanity
will have you in tears, and shoe how simply terrible you and your friends really are.
Smash-Up
Want to lead an army made up of laser shooting robots and kittens? Done. How about Princesses and Cthulhu cultist? Done. Great game. With quite a bit of strategy to it as well.
Carcassonne
This game has been around /forever/. The reason is that it's entertaining and easy enough to grasp that it can be fun and engaging to even the most diverse group. Build your empire and see who's the mightiest reign!
Ticket to Ride
Another great game! Build your rail line across a country (Or countries) and see who ends up with the most expansive train network. It sounds a bit simple but there is quite a bit to it and a lot of frustration when a supposed friend builds a rail line right through the middle of the map.
Settlers of Catan
Another awesome empire building game. Collect resources and expand your colony across the map!
Epic Spell Wars of the Battle Wizards: Duel at Mt. Skullzfyre
If the ridiculous name doesn't give a hint, this easy to play game is absurdly fun. The cards are both gross and amazing as you build epic spells to sling at opponents until you are the last epic wizard standing! Highly recommend for new players as it's easy to play and hilariously fun.
For a more Role play-ish roll (Or to ease newbs into the RP idea) but equally as zany and fun there's
Mad Scientist University
You are a student at a University for Mad Scientists in training, be that the good or bad ones. Your given assignments like writing your name on the moon, then an ingredient to come up with a crazy way to do it, like squirrels.
I either own most of these or have owned them or have them installed on Tabletop Simulator (Yes I bough a fucking video game to play table top games online. shuddup). The last two on this list are probably my favorite games to have come out in a very long time.
Oh yeah, and then there's
DUNGEONS AND MOTHER FUCKING DRAGONS.
which does count as a table top game though it's quite involved compared to the others.

Offensive? Possibly. Fun? Oh hellllllll yeah. Literally an excuse to argue with people and call someone a fascist PoS. Fascist players get to use a lot of mind games to trick others. Liberal players need good detective skills to call someone out on their bullshit. Very fun game but it can get heated.
I'm pretty sure Will Wheaton (That kid from Star Trek Next Generation) did videos for most of mine. So here ya go.
