Destressing and Making Choices - Tigady - 03-05-2013

As many of you know I have a deployment scheduled for the start of the next fiscal year, in September/October. What you don't know is that this deployment is completely optional. I don't have to go. In fact, over then next few months the option is open for me to leave military service completely and be released from my four year oath. With no shame and no bad record. Free to pursue a new venture in my life. And why shouldn't I? I've given two good years to my country. I've bled for this land. I don't owe anyone anything. I do rather love my job, but at the same time my life could be so much easier, maybe even more fulfilling.

This is a huge decision to have to make. A crossroads in my life. With a lot of stress piling up lately, I just can not think straight, get my work done, and make quite as much time for Mesalia. So I will be taking a little bit of time mostly absent. I am not completely leaving. I will be online for a few minutes each day probably, and if anyone needs something from Drake if you catch me on skype or tell River about it I can probably put some time on for that to. But I will not be hanging around the server to actively look for RP, or engage in really long RPs.

To explain Drake's absence, he has begun construction on a new ship to help bring back Ravenna's port. He is not looking for much help on the ship and prefers to spend most of his time working on it alone. In the quiet. So he can think, reflect on his losses, and escape the hate he has been getting from a few people.
