It states time and date and the circumstances to why there's not been a possibility to hold a traditional funeral for the whole community to attend. It seems the recovered remains were in such state after the young man's death by dusk monsters it had to be burried quickly. The note also contains the information that any belongings found to have been Serf's should be turned in in order to be sent to the next of kin, as well as the location of his grave at the graveyard.

NOTE:
The memorial won't be roleplayed. Unfortunately I won't have the time to see to it right now. But you're free to state your character was there and roleplay accordingly. The only things to take note of are:

- Per Mesalian tradition one hope the dead has ascended to the Stars by Sulena's blessing or been safely guided to next life (reincarnation is their belief, see the religion lore).
- Since Serf was a farmer, the goddess Drymaterras may be mentioned as someone prominent to his life.
- Zark as hostess would hold a short speech and anyone that want to do one may as well.
- Zark would reassure anyone asking that he was given proper sending after her best ability.
- There was probably a snack and drink cause people love that shit.

The clinic is able to provide information on nutrition, athletics related injury and precautions, common ailments, herb identification, basic trauma care, prenatal and postnatal issues, sanitation, practices for everyday wellness, preventive checks for various diseases such as infections, reproductive wellness check ins, and more. If you can't make it to the clinic but would like to be provided with information, please send for me and I will come to you.

Physicals are recomended for all people engaged in particularly active or strenous lifestyles (and will be FTB'ed, so don't worry about RP'ing the weird parts). Guards, laborers, and athletes should all recieve physicals once a year. It is important to keep good records of your overall condition, a doctor is better when informed. These physicals can also help uncover issues you may as of yet be unaware of.

Sexual health is important not just for those expecting children. If you should need contraceptives they will be provided to you. If you are expecting, or trying to concieve, prenatal care is important to the health of both the mother and the child and propper nutrition can be the key to reducing the mortality rate. With the help of what experienced mothers may exist in Nightveil, the clinic hopes to provide the best possible chances for healthy childbirth should the need arise.

Winter is flu season, so please sanitize all of your regularly used surfaces and items regularly even if you are not sick. If you know someone is sick please avoid close physical contact as much as possible. If you suspect you have the flu, please visit the clinic immediately as this can be life threatening in severe and untreated cases.

I have chopped and split a large supply of firewood for the winter and stacked it across the road from the notice board. Please take as much as you need, and stay warm. For those of you too sick to retrieve it, as well as all the xitians who would be too severely effected by the cold to go outside, send for me and I will make deliveries to your homes. Do not worry about taking the last of the stack, I will cut more any time it gets low. Don't suffer in silence for the sake of pride. If you need help, take it.

Furthermore, as your local fire fighter I would like to ask all citizens to please be careful with the size of fires this winter, and try to be safe with the location of fires. If you can reach from your firepit to a drape or curtain, the fire can reach it too. Smoke from fires must be well ventilated as if will suffocate you just as fast as a fire will burn you. If you are unsure if a place is suitable for lighting a fire, or need help setting up a fire, send for me and I will help you. Please do not burn down our beloved town. If your home does not have a safe space for a fire pit, look for other temporary accomodations instead of lighting fires in unsafe places.

I write this letter to make a request. It doesn't involve any dangers to your person or anyone close to yourself, and it doesn't involve harming anyone. It won't be profitable, as our resources are limited and we can't provide you with much, but it does involve saving a life.

I hesitate to provide details in case the letter falls into the wrong hands, but know that the person in question is in need of a safe place where that person can live without fearing for death every waking moment of that person's life.

If the costs of this person's necessities are what worries you, we will provide for the person's needs by sending monthly allowances.

Should you choose to accept this request, please inform our courier, and I will personally visit you in your town in the future to provide the details.]]>

A meet is to be held very soon to hopefully set our relations towards the local Ko'Ban tribe. Hara has adviced that we serve a type of booze she calls "fire-water". According to her this is a kind of booze much stronger than any other that can make one very sick. I wonder if you have the ability to brew this and, if so, could do so before the second moon of spring? If you need additional supplies, contact me as soon as possible.

Town Meeting Summary

Following the dragon’s attack on Nightveil a procedure was established which is to be followed from here on if there’s any future attacks. The procedure is as follows:

- No engaging the dragon. We’re not equipped or protected enough to withstand it well.
- The bell is to be rung to sound the alarm. By whoever is able to, it is a first priority. Once this is done the next steps are considered.
- Civilians are to immediately head into the tunnels beneath town and the shelter there and are to remain there till the danger has passed.
- The guard should first and foremost make sure everyone’s taken to safety in the tunnels.
- The guard should lastly head for safety in the tunnels as well.

Above procedure should be followed till otherwise stated.
Food is to be rationed till further notice. Tavern personnel Nerissa, Daryel and Roy are responsible for this arranged.
The farmlands are to be cleaned up. Whatever help one can give in this is appreciated.
All miners should be aware of increased workload. What you produce is now highly wanted for the smithy and the trade.
All hunters be warned and do practise caution. The dragon is out there somewhere. Furthermore you’re all much needed at this time and we will need a lot of game brought in.
Hara is tasked with building reservoirs as well as at least one new bell tower. If Zarkaylia can arrange plans Hara is also tasked with building ballistas for our defence. Hara also have a lot of repairs to tend to and all help one can give her is much appreciated.
Raphael is to look into a fire solution.
Raphael as well as others have volunteered to study the dragon. A scouting party will be ordered to head out in due time. No one’s yet to attempt this.
Adreanna have been tasked with making sure the shelter in the tunnels are turned into a more permanent one for eventual future use.
Zaira have been tasked with constructing a bell for the new bell tower.

In light of recent events I, Elder of Nightveil, request the people of Nightveil to participate in an emergency town meeting that will be held in the town hall (which the most of you probably refer to as the castle. Though it's a very damn small castle I'd say). Presence is recommended to let your voice be heard in regards to what actions to take next and to learn what is to come, but not mandatory.

Obviously, caution is adviced for adventurers and explorers as the location of this dragon is not known and it is highly dangerous.

I hope to see as many of you as possible at this meeting.
