Well, it's a somewhat flimsy personality change; probably too dramatic for the amount of time that Liz has been gone. I personally don't think making the character more combat-oriented will solve the previous issues you've had with this character. But, if you think it will and would like to at least give it a go, then I'll approve.
Just one thing to note, however: if you wish to make any skill updates for your character, you must apply for them, and then have them approved by staff. I say this because it seems Liz will be learning more about combat.
