I played them on NoCash Emu.. It wasn't bad, but now I have an Acekard, so I have the game Roms on my DS, which I love by the way.. And even on the DS, I am having a hard time.. like.. holding my attention to it...
Yeah, 4th Gen is pretty mediocre (I assume thats what you're talking about), and hey, it might just not be for you. However, if you'd like to try something a bit more challenging and interesting than the games themselves, you could always download Showdown, the PvP battling client thats posted above. I'd not suggest going into an actual match, you should just start off with Random Battles, which give you a random team to work with. Once you get into team building though, it gets really competitive, as silly as it sounds, because the most popular metagame, the OU tier, is as centralized as it gets around three things. Weather inducers, entry hazards, and Scizor. Because of this, a lot of people like to play the lower tiers, where they can sue their favorites and still do well. Check it out sometime.
Just a reminder to any American with a copy of a Gen V game, you can head over to GameStop between now and the 24th to get your Meloetta, this will probably be your last chance to receive one. No even announced for Britain, as of yet. Details in the link.
