He sports a dark red coat and fedora, along with dark grey pants and black boots. He conceals many small pockets on the interior of his coat, which hold a number of throwing knives. Being somewhat of a tinkerer, Otto has managed to mount two spring-loaded knifes to the insides of his sleeves, which are activated when he moves his wrist a certain way. He tends to have a twisted, unchanging smile most of the time, giving off the notion that he has some sort of mental problem.

Backstory :
Otto smiled gleefully as he was brought up to the headsman. They had finally caught him, it was about time anyway. He had been on the run since the age of 20â¦he was now 25, and had loved every second of it. He looked back on his life as he climbed the steps up to the platform. He had been abandoned as a child, left on the steps of an orphanage called âOne last Hopeâ
He didnât have a name at first, and didnât mind the fact; he was content with being called âBoyâ or âChildâ. Eventually, the caretakers, Mr. Otto and Mrs. Marx, began to teach the children in the orphanage how to read and write. He had to finally choose a name for himself, and it didnât take him long to figure out what it should be. He called himself Otto Marx, after the caretakers that he loved so dearly. At about the age of 7, it was becoming increasingly clear that Otto was a little different. He liked to take things that didnât belong to him, and seeing as the world he was being raised in consisted mostly of crime, this behavior wasnât stopped at all by the caretakers. It was also becoming clear that he had an incredibly difficult time controlling his emotions, and frequently slipped in and out of serious depression. When he wasnât depressed, heâd usually be high on life, so happy that in fact, it was rather creepy. The other orphans didnât dare tease him about this however, as he had developed a major anger problem as well.
Besides all his mental issues, Otto was rather normal for his age. He loved to tinker with things from an early age; delighting in seeing some small contraption he made aiding someone in some way. He spent most of his time alone, tinkering away, without a care in the world. On his Tenth birthday, he received a rather unwelcome surprise however. A man came in and approached Mr. Otto, saying that he was a representative of the Martillo family, and that it was time to pay up. As it had turned out, Mr. Otto was running the orphanage on borrowed money. The man pleaded with this newcomer, begging for more time to pay him off, but the Martillo representative just sighed, pulling out a knife from his pocket, and cutting Mr. Ottoâs throat. He fled the premises, as the poor Caretaker slowly suffocated. Otto watched his only father figure die right in front of him, but he didnât cry, he just stood there, and vowed vengeance against these, âMartilloâsâ. Mrs. Marx wasnât seen at all after that, all of the orphans assumed that she was dead, and so did Otto. No one came to help them; apparently they were all forgotten along with Mr. Otto and Mrs. Marx.
Otto quickly began to starve, as did the other orphans. Rather than die here, in this abandoned orphanage, Otto left, and tried to survive. Although it was difficult at first, he quickly began to adapt to the street scene. He learned its passages and routes by hand, becoming skilled in leaping from the rooftops and stealthily stealing his food. He lived like this for nearly 5 years, content in his thiefâs paradise. Something bothered him though. He aspired to be a better thief, stealing more than just his food, perhaps money and pricier goods. So he began the decent into grand theft. Pick pocketing purses and even sneaking into houses, stealing the goods within. This soon attracted the attention of a small group of thieves and assassins know only as the SS. They didnât approach him immediately, just watching in the shadows. When Otto had gotten enough stolen funds, he immediately sold them off to buy something he really wanted, a dagger. It was soon his, a small piece of Iron in which he had no Idea how to use.
This soon changed when he was confronted by a man in a hooded cloak, saying he was from the SS. Otto immediately accepted the manâs offer, which was âWould you like to join us, and smite your enemies?â Otto agreed on the terms that he would get his revenge on the Martilloâs for ruining his life 8 years ago.
He quickly began his training with the SS, learning how to use Daggers, and the Crossbow, a signature weapon of the SS. Otto gained much from them, in terms of friendships, and skill in killing. Other than the material weapons, he was also taught how to make various poisons, and how to make specific painkillers and basic medical treatment, in case he was ever hurt on the streets. After several years of training, he was ready for his first job.
Positioning himself on the roof of a nearby Inn, Otto watched the politician give his speech, smirking to himself, it was time. He notched his crossbow, aiming it at the old manâs heart, on the verge of a certain laughter he could not contain, he made the shot. As the crowd roared in fear and confusion, the old man fell, and Otto was already leaping across the rooftops, laughing aloud to himself. This killing spree of his lasted the full of 5 years, until he was finally stopped after one particular incident. His target was the same man who had killed Mr. Otto back at the orphanage so long ago, he was now a feeble man, and weaker than he had been back then, no longer supported by the Martilloâsâ¦he had just been a thug. Otto walked up to him, when no one was around on the street, and stabbed the man continuously until he lay stillâ¦37 timesâ¦he sighed in relief, laughing at the top of his lungs, he was elated to have the joy of killing this man who had done him wrong so long ago. Otto hadnât accounted for the amount of guards that might be rounding the street corner right this second, and they charged him. Several guards quickly converged on him, they put up a good fight, eventually landing a large cut over his eye, blinding him there, and he fell, overtaken.
When he had next woken up, he was in a prison, sentenced to death for his countless crimes. Then he was here, walking up to the platform, kneeling down, listening as the headsman called out, âFive, Four, Threeâ¦â Otto pushed his bound hands against the ground, springing his legs up to push the heavy axe out of the large manâs hands, making him fall off of the platform and into the spectators below. Otto flicked his wrists, revealing two daggers mounted to his wrists under his sleeves, he cut off his bindings, which were rather loose to begin with. He ran off of the platform, toward the port, the spectators creating a path from him to get through, not wanting to be stabbed. He reached the docks, jumping into a crate of food, quickly closing it as it was lifted onto the awaiting boat.
Otto again laughed, his plan had come to fruition! He had escaped the clutches of death once more, and was now headed for the Forbidden land, just as planned. Otto survived off of the food in the crate during the voyage, and the crate was âAccidentallyâ dropped off the coast of the Forbidden land. As it drifted ashore, he smiled, laughing to himself, it was time to find some civilization.
