Hiya, Solemn. I'm Michelle. Welcome to Mesalia.
Usually, I take a long time to write responses, because I go over what I type to make sure I don't sound mean or insensitive towards you or your work. However, the fact that I do take a long time is worrying the Admin (Zarkaylia), because the longer it takes for me to respond, the more worried or disinterested you probably become. Thus, the result is I have to answer your question quickly, but I might not come across as very sensitive. Sorry if I don't sound very nice; do understand that the staff are here to help you get in, not tell you to GTFO. We really need new peeps.
Okay, so now that's out of the way... The short answer is yes, it probably would be better if you didn't go with this character concept because it makes us nervous. From the whitelist application thread:
"Characters considered difficult to play
Thieves, murderers, villains, prostitutes and other types considered needing good roleplay skill to pull off we will rarely accept as someone's first character, if at all."
I would also like to point out that your character's history in prostitution is more concerning than her history as an assassin. As you probably know from our rules, Mesalia's PG13, and although that's not a rating we adhere to strictly, we're particularly concerned about characters (of any gender) being over-sexualised.
So yeah... while your enthusiasm and effort is appreciated, please consider going with a less ambitious concept because this isn't likely to pass as it is right now.
If you have any more questions or concerns, please feel free to continue voicing them. That's all, and good luck.
