Alright, this post isn't going to have any particular theme to it, its just a collection of unrelated songs I thought of, here goes.


Under the Bridge - Red Hot Chili Peppers: Slower, calm song about Heroin addiction. The RHCP are a Rock group with some Funk thrown in.

The Distance and Short Skirt/Long Jacket - Cake: Cake is a strange sounding band, which could be good or bad depending on the tastes. The vocalist generally speaks instead of sings, but it works very well. If you don't like The Distance, I'd still check out Short Skirt/Long Jacket, a its noticeably different. More upbeat and such.

Digital Love and Aerodynamic and Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger and Something About Us and High Life and LITERALLY EVERY SONG ON DISCOVERY. THEY MADE AN ANIME OUT OF IT SO IT MUST BE GOOD - Daft Punk: Discovery by Daft Punk is easily my favorite DP album, I listed the ones that I thought of first, but I'm just going to link you to the playlist and you can hop around from there. Watch them in order, if you plan on watching the whole thing, because the music videos are an anime that tell a story. If you don't have the time to watch the whole thing, just jump around to look at different songs. They range from downright silly to actually very sad.

Dumb and Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana: Dumb is calm, whilst Smells Like Teen Spirit is loud with rough vocals, though both are good.

Wing$ - Macklemore and Ryan Lewis: I don't listen to a lot of rap, but I really like this song. Definitely a good one, in my opinion.

Lose Yourself - Eminem: Again, not a big fan of rap, but I'd thought a list a few I did like. This is one of them.

Champagne Supernova and Wonderwall - Oasis: These are good if you're looking for a calmer song. The band is very beatle-esque, but they do it very well.
