I've changed her backstory to give her experience with various different styles of architecture as I decided having her knowledgeable, no matter how talented, in only one single style reduced the possibilities for her dramatically. Adding distant surrounding towns also gives more probability to the group I mentioned freeing her as now the towns are actually partially established. I've clarified what the book is and I knocked architecture down to competent. Sorry I missed the "bit about yourself" section, not sure how that happened.

Firstly, I'm sorry for the late reply. Please understand that new players are not often accepted with such high skills, and thus your application needed to be discussed within staff; this generally slows down the whitelisting process.

Secondly, it has been decided that your character's masonry skill is still too high. Despite your character's backstory stating she has been exposed to a variety of stone architecture from different towns, staff believe the neighbouring towns would not differ so drastically that Mercédès would know everything there is about working with stone. Furthermore, (as stated before), we rarely accept characters with 'expert' skills, let alone 'master' skill. To put the situation in more context, the only character accepted with 'master' prior to this application was this character, who had no other skills and was twenty years older than Mercédès.

At most, staff see your character at an 'expert' level, even with the added experience with different styles in the backstory. For your character to be a master mason, she would have to be much older, and would most likely have to travel a lot further than any distant neighbouring towns. With this information in mind, please revise.
