I still need to see some more description of his childhood here, currently there's not a whole lot we can gather where it stands now. If you're stuck for inspiration, describing his then personality or what he did aside from sticking to his older siblings like a limpet to a rock. It'll give us more of an insight into the character and fill in a relatively barren part of his backstory.
If you can't think of anything to do on this front, additional detail about his early teens can help fill in the gap. When he decided on his job and how he was trained, how quickly he picked it up, or didn't... I leave that up to you, but that early part of his backstory needs more detail.
