Okay, so I got around to editing the first post based on what everyone has said and common sense (i.e. everything that came solely from trade is probably low in supply by now because we're past mid-Winter). Everything in red are things that have unanswered questions, but in terms of supply questions...

I think we can assume the supply for everything is very low, because 1. no one has said anything to suggest otherwise 2. this winter has been harsher, 3. trade was cut, and 4. Winter is almost over, meaning a lot should have been eaten thus far. Food supplies should be worryingly low, and rationing should be seriously considered as an option around this time.

I would like to have myself or a GM or whoever go into the kitchen this weekend, if not this Monday, and sort the items in there out, based on what has been said in this thread and educated guesswork. I'm talking named items and signage, and getting rid of anything that should've rotted, been eaten, or wasn't accounted for here. This needs to be done as soon as possible, because this Winter without trade is supposed to be important for the server-wide plot.

But at the same time, I would like to give people time to add in any additional information that might help us get the food stock looking accurate. Did your character have a terrible harvest thanks to honey badgers? Did they steal tons of food while no one was looking? Can you tell us where the mystery mushrooms came from? Again, the questions that need answering are in red on the first page.

Were I able to get on this earlier, I would've given everyone a week, but in a week Winter's over, and the situation will probably look different. So unfortunately, you all have until 12:00AM Monday the 27th, GMT (in London) to turn any last minute details in. That's 7:00PM Sunday the 26th, GMT-5 (in New York) and 11:00AM Monday the 27th, GMT+11 (in Sydney). If you don't put any additional info in, we'll just use what you've told us thus far.

Until then, everyone assume that your character is being fed, but if they're serving themselves food, they should notice the worrying lack of it.

To clarify while there is still time.
Dusken and Lyrxi would have fished whenever the weather would permit it and a good decent amount of regular intervals. Even if this brings in lesser fish than during other seasons, at least it would have a small income of fish now and then as a result.

On a second note, Lyrxi would have started with gentle rationing at the start of winter and adjusted appropriately depending on how the amount of food was as time passed, so I do not know how much that would affect the remainder of food left at this point.

On a final note I'd like to be informed though, if is Chathra would/has been rationing as well, or has simply done her work without rationing with her cooking?

After Ly told her about the food and trade situation, Chathra just cut back generally: she made the most out of everything she could (e.g. cooked the pumpkin seeds as well as the pumpkin, ate the aromatic vegetables she put into stock that you're supposed to discard after the stock's brewed), and watered down what she could until it was eventually noticeable. More recently though, she's been cutting down on portions; the average serving Chathra dishes out today isn't enough to feed the average adult. It's possible to make this a matter of her being a tad dramatic, though; it's not like she's ever been in a situation of great scarcity before, and in fact she doesn't know what "rationing" means. It's also possible to retcon this if staff approve, and if you think Ly would've given her additional instruction.

But in terms of whether their actions would've made a difference... I think they did make a difference, but ultimately they're postponing the inevitable. The end of the season is nigh, and so the inevitable is approaching. Plus, the kitchen's open to all, and between Ly and Chaths the food supply can't always be watched. Ly has other responsibilities, and Chathra would let anyone take whatever regardless because Ly said it was normal, and she nearly lost her job with Thomas (thus wouldn't be disobeying). There's thirty people in the setting, and the average character wouldn't and shouldn't starve themselves whenever a cook isn't there.
