OC ReMix #2699: Final Fantasy VI 'The Impresario' [Medley]

Under the Bridge - Red Hot Chili Peppers: Slower, calm song about Heroin addiction. The RHCP are a Rock group with some Funk thrown in.

The Distance and Short Skirt/Long Jacket - Cake: Cake is a strange sounding band, which could be good or bad depending on the tastes. The vocalist generally speaks instead of sings, but it works very well. If you don't like The Distance, I'd still check out Short Skirt/Long Jacket, a its noticeably different. More upbeat and such.

THEY MADE AN ANIME OUT OF IT SO IT MUST BE GOOD - Daft Punk: Discovery by Daft Punk is easily my favorite DP album, I listed the ones that I thought of first, but I'm just going to link you to the playlist and you can hop around from there. Watch them in order, if you plan on watching the whole thing, because the music videos are an anime that tell a story. If you don't have the time to watch the whole thing, just jump around to look at different songs. They range from downright silly to actually very sad.

So these are a lot of songs from the same band. I love Eluveitie, their folk metal is some of the best I've heard, and the above songs are my favourites. Some of their songs hold meaning for me, or have meanings of their own. Oh and they're singing in Gaulish for those who are wondering.

After the whole build up of the game, the Suicide Mission was a very tense and scary ending. You didn't know who you were going to lose (Unless you cheated and looked up), and the weight of the fictional human race rested on your shoulders. This powerful piece really added to it.
