Fixed. Dranscey is now "A southern city". Nice and neutral solution.
I also changed the town name from Whitestone to Valifren. Sounds better.
The ring was changed from a Legionary Ring to a Regimental Ring.

Hello Tig, some concerns came up about this item listed on your application and the skill needed to make it:

- The techniques involved with the smithing of this item are not supported by your character's age and skill level. With just this to go on, it seems you may be over extending his knowledge by applying all period appropriate smithing techniques, instead of what was most likely the result of his cultivation and what he was generally making. Please define the skill fully to include exactly what smithing and forging methods he uses, along with having these skills align with realistic expectations of knowledge garnered as explained in the backstory.
- The differential hardening techniques used to make a blade with a softer core would not be appropriate for the weapon you described. A longsword would be better suited to differential tempering, since longsword wielders generally parry and block with the edge.

Made an edit, I am very thankful to SentaiPink and other members of staff for bringing to my attention the true nature of folding steel and encourage my further research into the subject. I've edited my application accordingly.
I edited his sword to no longer include folded steel.
I added an amendment to the notes on his methods.
"On method, Mathias is skilled in his work and for much of his life had ample material to work with. He most often prefers to differentially temper his blades for durability, but he has also learned to differentially quench the blades. During the large loss of miners during the civil wars less quality ore was brought up, which caused Mathias to require learning new methods like differentially forging and folding steel from his mother, who came from a much poorer place then Valifren. He is well versed with the methods, but prefers greatly to start with good steel and use tempering over folding."
