I appreciate it. Uhhh. I go back to uni next week. Poetics, Grammar (five bucks the first thing they do is show us this), and Film History. I'm pretty lukewarm to all three of those, but at least I'll have something to do again. Not looking forward to getting up early though, since IT'S SO FUCKING COLD IN THE MORNINGS, LIKE SOME QUEEN ELSA SHIT UP IN HERE.
I HATE WINTER. I'D RATHER BE IN 40C (104F) HEAT, LOOKING AFTER A PANTING CAT ALL DAY.
But on the plus side I bought one of these in preparation for a trip to the states in December, and it is so comfy and warm. Not to mention adorable. Also, I'm getting back into playing vanilla minecraft... which is kinda putting me in a position of "should I buy another MC account so I can play and be on Mesalia at the same time?"
Yeah, I'm not doing anything spectacular this holiday. Ask me again in Australian summer! I'll tell you how I'm going into American winter! ^^

Two winters in a row, Michelle? Pretty amazing, I envy you. My summer's been pretty alright, I caught my yearly sickness so that's behind me and I'm in the middle of registering for classes. This is the first summer I've actually been at home so I've actually been able to get things done. Applied for Mesalia, got accepted, got an internship kinda thing working for a guy making tabletop RPGs, working at an insurance agency, watching the absurd disconnect between my niece (who I based Rose off of) and Rose, who are now 18 years apart in age.
Overall it's been a nice quiet summer, I've done more writing in this one summer than I have during the past few years combined. It'll be nice to get back to school, but I'm reveling in my free time, whether it's because I'm putting things off or because I actually have free time.

As an underemployed american, I work year-round. I don't really get vacations anymore. But that's adulthood for you. Summer just sort of means I'm working plus I get to be hot and sweaty all the time. But It's also convention season, so that's a thing. I'm working on putting some art together to sell off. If can manage it. It's really hard to find time to work, make sell-able artwork, RP, and my staffy stuff. So As you can imagine summer is busy for me right now...
And for some damn reason bumble bee's keep getting INSIDE my apartment. We've found like 4 of them. We've no idea how they get in, but I keep having to catch the fuzzy bumbles to let them go outside. So there's that. Maybe it's the same bee and she's just in love with me. (Bumbly bees are all female, the males are all drones inside the hive :3)
