Sailor it is, unless anyone has any objections. Probably chiefly skilled in logistics and fishing. Merchant Mariner, 30-35, weary soul, reclusive, a real big-picture thinker who always looks at the world as if from outside of it, largely influenced by spending years at a time on ships, separated from society.
What do y'all think of that concept?
Not sure how much RP a sailor who is "separated from society," will get; however, the fishing aspect of that can be of use as he can, well, get fish for others to eat. I'm also not sure how separated a sailor would be as well, sailors have to communicate.
Depends on how you write it. My concern is that word: "Separated," but if you write and construct the character well go for it.
The idea is to only get a moderate amount of RP, actually. I won't have time to be incredibly active between two jobs and uni. Not to mention my habit of putting several hours every other day into blackening my lungs and screaming curse words at whatever sports game happens to be playing.
