It's okay to use personality tests, yes. I use them all the time, but be very wary when using them. Generally, putting the results into your own words won't be enough unless you can make those results specific to your character.

For example, the following characters are both INTJs, but they are completely different people:
Jolene
Snow
Even though INTJ is a type of personality, you can still have types of INTJs; this would apply to your character's personality.

Either way, I can tell you that no, this is not exactly what I'm looking for from you.
What I'm looking for has been said previously in many different ways. You need to focus less on the character's extroversion. Give him more traits that are less synonymous with extroversion, and traits that would give him more complex motives.
