Some lore stuff - I have reworded this part of the story to make it less dramatic. Lucas and his parents simply took the information of the Xitian's portal sparking as a sign that conflict will arise in the soon future. They could have been wrong, but the family was still in fear. This lead to the separation of Lucas from his family, as well as the beginning of Lucas's massive push towards becoming a part of society.

Lucas's situation has given him both massive advantages and massive disadvantages. His father was taught how to fight and how to overall be strong and fit, while his mother was taught a vast amount of knowledge of the world. At the same time, Lucas and his family were completely disconnected from society, and barely spent any time on side hobbies or social commitments. Lucas began his training in the arts of the wild as early as six years old, and basically spent every day practicing and advancing upon his survival skills. All of these aspects about Lucas's life also lead to Lucas's weakness in social interaction. I feel all of this this justifies the fact that Lucas is quite strong in the fields of hunting, survival, and combat, yet also very weak on social interactions.
