The following entry is in Lucin

Today was an eventful day, to say the least.

I was finally sucessful in locating Rahan, who was sitting in the same spot at the bar where I first found him. The man really needs something exciting to happen to him, in my opinion. I was happy to provide such an opportunity and told him about the deathpit in my room, leaving out certain details, of course. He was naturally intrigued and we descended into the hole. We saw no dusks in the stairwell or hallway, but were stopped by the instability of the path. We vowed to return with wooden supports later to get across the path and stabilize it, but I in no way plan on returning to the hole without proper guard expertise, hopefully from whoever this Kane fellow is.

I shall do my best to locate him tomorrow. Perhaps Adreanna or Zarkaylia will know of his whereabouts.

In addition, I met the trademaster, "Doctor" Lapis. I'm still not sure what my goal was in speaking to her, but she seemed friendly enough. I will comment, though, that she seems far too young to be in any way experienced with trading, and I think food imports could be easily retstarted if Nightveil would export some of the precious medals that Rahan claims are found in the mines. I may or may not bring this up when I see her again. Then again, maybe she already knows and I'm underestimating her?

I find such a scenario unlikely, but I'll entertain the thought purely out of fairness.

There is a final face I met since my last journal entry, and he is the reason that I didn't write yesterday. Zarkaylia advised me to speak with the hunter, Terry. As luck would have it, he is a passive aggressive dickhole that, if I had my way, I would have kiss Isohel's hairy ass. He appears to believe that his lack of an education and simple ways make him better than me. How dare he accuse me of relying on servants without knwoing anythign about me? This is the attitude I left Adriaansbrug to escape.

I negelected to write an entry last night as I was afraid I would embarass myself with my thoughts about the asshole. Now that my thoughts are more tempered and cool, it is appropriate to comment on him.

Unfortunately, I will now be forced to prove him wrong, as if I owe him something. I will accompany him on a hunting trip, leave him dumbfounded with my experience, and gain his repsect. We will see then how directly he insults me. I will have to check out a tracking book out of the library. Shooting the animal I can do, finding the animal is another matter.
