So close, but not quite. There was another thing I told you to do; this would be the fourth or fifth time I've told you to do it.
If hope this round, the message is much clearer. Yes, I'm seeing improvement; more aspects of the character's personality are being considered, but it's still just not there yet. Introduce more complexity.
Some helpful resources.
That's all. Good luck.
Michelle Wrote:4. Your characterâs personality requires more detail. Most of what has been listed so far is a good start, but it lacks sufficient depth. There is not much to this character outside of extroversion, creativity and symptoms of mental illness. Please revise and see point 12 for further instruction.
Michelle Wrote:The point I am emphasising is that you tend to define or summarise your characters with one âdefaultâ trait, and this limits their depth. Please be mindful of this on your next submission or revision. A good first step to improving this on future submissions is to be more detailed and explicit when describing your characterâs personality, and to consider your characterâs personality on many levels and under many different circumstances.
Michelle Wrote:2. Personality issues: as stated in point 4 of my previous post: âIâm seeing improvement, but thereâs still a lot of depth and complexity missing in your character. You focus too strongly on your characterâs extroversion and enthusiasm. You need to push further.â Try discussing your characterâs personality in an overall contxt, under a new section. Consider and include more aspects of your characterâs personality; there should be more. Please revise and/or elaborate.

I doubt it, but would I be able to use the personality type thing with the 4 letters to describe his personality...
Because I know which ones he is, though it'd be a lot easier to just do the 4 letters. I've seen that on some character sheets...at some point.
I THINK that's what you are looking for are those 4 different things, so if that's the case it's just a matter of whether i can just put it as is or should I put it in my own words?
Thanks.

It's okay to use personality tests, yes. I use them all the time, but be very wary when using them. Generally, putting the results into your own words won't be enough unless you can make those results specific to your character.
For example, the following characters are both INTJs, but they are completely different people:
Jolene
Snow
Even though INTJ is a type of personality, you can still have types of INTJs; this would apply to your character's personality.
Either way, I can tell you that no, this is not exactly what I'm looking for from you.
What I'm looking for has been said previously in many different ways. You need to focus less on the character's extroversion. Give him more traits that are less synonymous with extroversion, and traits that would give him more complex motives.
I've gotta run, I'm running late for class. That's all, for now. Good luck.

Alright! I'm done!
I am sure this will be more than enough and that I've covered as many of the nooks and crannies of his personality as I could!
