Hullo French, this is, what I hope to be, the last round of our review session. And fortunately there is only one problem I have with your app this time round, unfortunately, it has to do with Ike's skills again.

-=oOo=-

Mining & Prospecting: So I've been having a bit of a chat with the rest of the staff, and you could say we had a bit of a debate as to whether Ike should be allowed his skills. You can probably guess that the verdict was a no.

You remember last time how I said that I believe prospecting is a legitimate trade? So the issue is that since you have listed prospecting as a separate skill, which means that the skill was notable enough in Ike that it had to be listed separately from mining. This means that Ike has advanced skills in two things that puts him above the typical miner and a typical prospector. This is problematic because given that he lost his mentor, his dad, at the age of 21, he would have spent the next 12 years only practicing by himself, and there is always a limit to teaching yourself a skill or two.

-=oOo=-

So the short version is, Ike can't have two advanced skills. If, however, prospecting was to be combined with mining, you could keep the mining skill as 'advanced' and say that he's advanced in mining because he can prospect for ores as well as mine them, but if you still would like to keep the two, you would have to reduce both of them to 'competent'. Thanks!

Bump.

Cut both skills down to 'competent' as I'd rather define them as separate skills than trying to mash them together to keep one skill higher.
