[center]Entering Last Days of the Middle Map[/center]
The countdown is ticking down, we do not have many days now left with the pilgrimage and the Middle Map. This is a relief to most I imagine, exciting with a new map coming soon, finally! The pilgrimage have been going on for years ICly, the events the chars have been forced to go through, the hardships, the joys and the sorrows, have undoubtfully done for us what the Middle Map needed to do; leave its marks.
We've lost a few down the road. Be it players or characters. We've had to say goodbye to old Aurian townsfolk like Zerek, who stayed behind in the hostes, and Daniella, the young woman who sadly ended up under Doctor Morteen's less than effective care. We've seen characters join the pilgrimage, like Jake, Dr Colette Morteen, Mordecai, Arua, Lyrxi, Dawn, Nicholas... and watch a few of them leave again, be it to meet their own fate someplace else or meeting their fate by another's hand.
It's been a bloody long journey and it's left none unaffected. No Rand, we won't let Caius have managed without a single problem, he's just as worn and skinny as the others.
I'll also be repeating this when more information is released, but we beg you... There's no "ha, my char totally didn't suffer from this map at all and is unaffected because he/she is very tolerant towards sand/heat/cold/Duskies/rain/starvation/injuries/ponies/flyingfkinrainbowcows/poisoning/circles and that's badass, aight?". We're going to shoot you down with every single staff weapon of existance if you pull anything like it and then we'll feed you to Roger.
We're making final preperations, one of which that needs to be addressed is item transfer, much like the one when we moved from the Aurian Map to the Middle Map. However, there's going to be a difference. We're not going to go with allowing anyone to bring in too much, for the simple fact that this map was a struggle, not a bloody vacation, and because there's still a point in making everyone start out from scratch. We've told people off plenty of times by now about walking off to gather resources for the heck of it and we won't have it. By any LOGICAL means, the lot of them went through this with only the intentions to survive and reach the end of the trail, just that being difficult enough. Your character went off and gathered 36 gold nuggets because he/she is a greedy fucker who'd totally carry around that shit for years when it's currently useless, crossing a desert, when there was enough trouble just getting all people and supplies with the group using "only" 3 wagons? Ha. No. Get real, for the love of God...
So, the thread will be up any moment with a format. Personal belongings listed please and that's more or less the only thing we expect you to let your character bring along.
Other than that, the preliminary date for the Middle Map to shut down is for now on Monday night OR Tuesday morning.
