I only wished it lasted longer~~

But yes I smiled and liked it and like Michelle I shed some tears. Mainly at the sight of the poor ponies' struggle with their wrong cutiemark tasks, ;-; poor Rarityyyyyyy D':, and at the Celestia song for same reasons as Michelle.

It's also wonderful to see an American show where for once the smart one isn't treated like shit and all characters are retards.

I've never seen an episode of ponies, but I'm pretty sure I know the entire plot of all three seasons by Internet parodys alone.

Ryu, like many cartoons, FiM doesn't tend to have an overarching plot most of the time. It's like the Simpsons: they have an adventure, learn something about friendship, and then everything's back to normal. Some episodes contribute to a big overarching plot, and some of them are two-parters, but really... you can watch them in any order.
So I don't know, it depends on the parody.

Though Friendship is Witchcraft is surprisingly accurate considering it's managed to predict future episodes of FiM.

And Zark: Canadian American. =P
I felt sorry for AJ.
