Hey guys, I've got a cool idea for a game centered around this map.

Unofficially called the Map Game, this is going to be a mix between a Paradox Interactive game and an RP. We're going to choose a time period, then pick countries to play as, and then we're going to start off. We'll have wars, diplomacy, and hopefully a large amount of absurdity.
I'm still getting the details worked out, and I'll try to clarify absolutely everything once we have some people who want to play. With a game like this, it works a lot better if a ton of people play. The more participants, the better.
The first obstacle will be the starting date. I'd like to choose something where there's lots of countries that can become Great Powers, but thats really up to you guys. I think some good ones would be:
1444 (EU4 start date.. Byzantium and Burgundy and other cool stuff is still around. Rise of the Ottoman Empire)
1492 (It would start exactly when Colombus leaves for America. He'd probably report back to Castille by the second turn)
1648 (Open North America ready for immediate colonization. Mughal Empire in a position to unify India)
Any other suggestions are cool, and we'll hold a vote once we get this started. Have a good time with this!
