A Letter from a Simple Smith
#1
The letter is rather in a bad shape, having traveled across the mainland crumpled up inside a pocket. The seal fell off a long time ago, and the contents of the letter are barely intact to be readable.

The actual writing itself is also rather terrible, and is almost a code in itself. With numerous spelling and grammatical mistakes, it would need people that actually know Mitty to be able to cipher what she's trying to say.

"Hello there Zark, you old codger. Heard from Ezri that you're dropping by Auria for a wedding. For your daughter was it? Or was it for your granddaughter? I forget the details, because one of my kids went daft and threw her mommy's letters in the fire.

Anywho, congratulations! Now your family's growing in a mighty fashion. Won't be long before your family takes up the whole town eh?

But speaking of which, I heard you lot's been having trouble sticking to one. After I left Ravenna, I thought you lot had the town under roots and everything, but eh, you've had your share of troubles haven't you? What with the next town getting flooded and all. And now I hear you lot are in an abandoned town, which I reckon is going to be mighty hard to run, since the town will basically have nothing to run on.

I'm itching to go there and give a hand. Lots of work to be had there eh? But with my kids and everything else, I'm too busy to leave my town for a long while.

Instead, I'll be sending one of the young ones here that are old enough for their trip, dunno how much she'll be able to do in your town, but she's Fogstone material she is, I'm sure you'll find a use for her.

Take care now. I've got no idea who's getting married, so I'll be sending some gold with the kid. Would have forged something, but I reckon you've got rings and the sort already sorted out by now. Buy some good food eh? And some of that grape juice called wine. People seem to like having that in weddings. Myself, I wouldn't know, we do weddings the Stonefire way."

The letter is signed off with a symbol of the Stonefire clan.
