As many of you may have noticed, I have had very little RP happening with Nicholas as of late. This is mostly due to the fact that schools up again and when I'm not there, doing homework, running/doing workouts for soccer, or doing personal things with friends and family, I'm working on staff projects. That being said, there's also the fact that I've had some trouble with this character concept and developing him much at all as well as enjoying roleplaying with his personality. However, for the sake that I haven't given him a chance much, I'm not ending his story with the group as of yet; nor am I quite pausing him, but here's what's happening until I get things under control before the new setting:
Nicholas has been, for the time that I've not been around to do much with him, hiding himself in secluded locations near the places the group has camped, in fear of making another mistake in speaking with the people (which so far have all ended negatively in his eyes). During this time, he will be studying, sleeping, praying, and thinking about basically everything. He comes out of his shell every once in a great while to speak to people, but not often. He will follow the group from a bit of a distance whenever they travel to a new location, for he wants to make it to the end of this 'Pilgrim's Journey' to see what the gods have called him to, and is unwilling to branch off by himself in fear of dying in the desert alone.
So, I hope that clears things up a bit and gives me a bit of a breath of fresh air so I can take care of more staff and IRL stuff until the new setting comes and I'm a little less busy and more motivated to RP.
TL;DR:
An explanation about why Nicholas hasn't been seen much IC and his continued absence so I can focus on staff stuffs till the new setting.
