In Game Name(IGN):
DawnoftheBobs

Why do you want to join?
I want to join because i have always liked serious role plays, and the the lore goes into great detail, which shows the administrative staff have so much dedication to put that much emphasis on the back story so that the future play is even more fun.

Do you have any RP'ing experience?
Yes, Fabletop and other RP servers which have shutdown.

Tell us a bit about yourself:
I am in the MCJROTC program and I volunteer for a firestation as an EMT and a firefighter. I also volunteer with the "rebuilding together" which fixes up and creates things for community homes.

Specify your character's skills:
Master Miner(During his early ages enslaved)
Quite, stealthy (hiding during Xitian raids)
Do your character bring anything to the setting (part from clothes)?
Mother's Pendent (Going to make it a gold block)
Father's Bow (Gonna be a enchanted bow)

Anything you'd like to add:
Great lore but from the various websites I looked at that lead me here the time frame of the lore changes. (I.E 18 years after the war of veld- to- 27 years after the war of veld)

[Conradian]

Just to let you know, the most up-to-date timeframes will be found on the lore of this website. Due to lots of other staff priorities we haven't had much time to work on even this forum, let alone all the other websites we have presence on.

Best of luck,
-Conrad, Lore-Keeper of Mesalia

Hey, this is Tim and I will be given you feed back on your application today so you can have a better go once it is trashed as another staff member has Private Messaged you about. Unfortunately, there's quite aways to go with this application before we can get it on the road. Here's the major issues I've spotted:

1. More Lore relation. Please take the time to re-read our lore if possible, and include some of the main parts of it in your character's backstory, such as the Civil Wars and Purge.

2. The backstory needs much, much, more detail. We would like to see a backstory that incorporates the lore as well as furthers your character's personality. Take a look at some of these accepted apps for examples of what I mean (This is on our old forum, so please disregard everything else).

3. You need to show your character's personality in his backstory. In this example, I saw very little reference to what your character thought about the things in his life, or anything at all really. Again, you should look at some of the applications the above link which will help you see what exactly I mean by saying this.

4. Quoted from the whitelist application format instructions:

"Bringing in too much or non-acceptable items: You may be asked to remove items if there's too much or not acceptable ones with your character. No one starts off having everything sorted!"

This means IG items such as a bow or a gold block can't be brought in. His mother's pendent would be acceptable to be brought in, but you would not be allowed to use the gold block IG to represent it, you would just need to RP that bit out.

5. You will need to re-work skills on your next application. Firstly, a 'master' skill is way too overpowering, no matter how old your character is. In order to become a 'master' at a skill, someone would have to spend their whole life doing it, perfecting their skill, learning from experts, and having a natural skill at it themselves. Secondly, you need to explain in the backstory how your character would obtain the skills listed.

6. Need your character's age, in relation to the lore.

7. At the moment, those are the main things that could help you with a new application once this one is trashed. If you make a new application, I strongly recommend you take awhile to look over the whitelist application format, Lore, and the accepted applications on the old forum.

Thanks and good luck,

-Tim
