Ahoy folks,
The larger event we tried to plan this summer has for good reasons been put on hold. Our dear Lore Keeper has taken a break, myself I got real busy and we all have some hard work to do during the days so plans didn't work out.
That said! We had a brief occasion of the mines causing problems. Now, however, Lien and Zaira pulled a little prank on the townsfolk and moved the tavern's lower floor outdoors... This gave the Elder the strange idea that her townsfolk are bored and need some festivities!
This is a heads-up, this will likely take place either this coming week or next. And since it's a CASUAL EVENT it won't need any great planing. It'll run till we staff think it's enough so all will have good chance to partake.
Quickly about "casual" events
These are events that require little preparation and involvment from staff and much like the day-to-day RP on the server hands responsibility to the players themselves, staff or not, to contribute to RP and help themselves have fun. There's no plot points lined up. Much like the normal RP the means and tools to have the greatest RP you can have is there, but you yourself have to pull your weight and shouldn't wait around for it to magically happen or for everyone else to pull the whole wagon. RP is a team effort and so is all events.
Much like normaly one's free to be creative and mess around with the possibilities given, be it NPCs, weather changes, dusk, food poisoning or wild animals. You all know the drill; use your imagination.
NOTE:
There's some RPing to be done around preparations and stuff to do still, of course.
