Appearance: Axel is a Thin, yet muscular and Tall figured man. Axel is Roughly tan and has a few scars and burns. Axel has Brown Hair that is naturally spiky, and is smooth in the back of his head, And the very front, that hangs over his Hazel eyes. Axel is Usually wearing rough-knit Clothing, That is made of wool and naturally white. He is usally Barefoot as well.
Personality: Axel is a solemn, shy, and hardworking man. He can be a bit depressing to be around, but at times he might be a bit happy. He doesn't open up well to others. He works hard at what he does and Doesnt stop unless he thinks he can stop safely.
Backstory: Axel was born 7 years after Veld. His Family was his father, and mother. They did have another child that Axel would never get to know, Because he was Kidnapped by Xitans before Axel was born. When he wasnt but a boy of six, the civil war broke out, He and his family followed a group of people who were fleeing underground in a former Xitan Bunker. They arrived to the location in the middle of a forest,It was a 1 meter hole, that had a ladder that went down a few decimeters. Down there, there were beds, a few food rashions, and weapons. Due to the lack of water, and low food resource, one man had to get food and water for the group. The role transitioned from man to man, His father had that role many times. One day, when he was a boy of 8, His father didnt return. The village starved that night. Axel didnt know what to think, either to have faith in his Father like his Mother said, or Forget about him, and think of him as a betrayer, as the village said. Something definitely was peculiar, here. It had been pretty much the same thing every day since their arrival. A man went and got food and water, and came back by nightfall. Why was this time different? The next day, another man went out, and Brought back food, water, and the Body of Axel's Father.
Axel and His mother wept over their loss. Still his father was thought of as a traitor. In shadow of his Father, He was shunned by his village. he didnt do alot of what he did when his father was alive. He was afraid of the other people. He feared if he screwed up, he would be banished or die. When he was a Boy of Ten, He screwed up. A boy had said something along the lines of "Axel, son of a traitor." Axel stopped, looked at him, And Punched him In the nose so hard that it bled, and it bled hard. A fight broke out between the two of them, And, after taking a few punches, Axel had had enough. He Punched the Kid so hard in the stomach, the boy fell and hit his head so hard, he died. Axel looked at what he had done. What had he done? He just killed someone. KILLED. Axel was Banished. His mother had thought of how could these people banish a mere boy? Truth be told, it was like a death sentence. A boy of ten in the wild? no way. It is a death sentence with a small chance of survival, Because, who would be cruel enough to kill a child was the Group's logic. Axel regretted what he had done. How, could he, a boy of ten, KILL someone? that was the question on his mind for days. He soon came upon a settlement of People, It wasnt much of a settlement. There were a couple of Men, Women, and a few children. But what he took note of most, was a couple of people in their old age. Axel walked into the village. The few people there saw him as a Malnourished boy. The village took him in. The old man that he had noticed took him into his home. His Name was Fiore, and His wife's name was Hana. Hana was a seamstress, and Fiore was a Rune master. Fiore showed Axel some of his creations, Most of them were Defensive systems. Axel was fed well by Fiore and Hana, and he had chores to do with Hana. Like, picking Berries, flowers (for the dye) and sheering sheep, (for wool). He really like helping Fiore. Axel thought that making the machines was cool. Time went on, and Hana and Fiore had become his mother-father figures. When he was 12, he learned how to hunt with the men, and that is what he had to do, that was his chore from then on. As time went on, he got better at hunting. at 13 he had Learned Rune-crafting from Fiore. He Picked it up very quickly, and that became what he did, He helped Fiore with runes. For another few years, that would be what he did, and he enjoyed it. when he was 16, Hana died. But she lived a very long life, 73 years. The night she died, Axel had sat on the steps of Fiore's House. Fiore Walked out and Joined him. They sat out all night and talked about Hana. within a Month, Axel turned 17. They had started on a rune project. An explosive Cannon, is what they would make. And they did. Fiore was testing it, And it malfunctioned. It exploded, Killing Fiore instantly. It took out glass between Fiores workshop and his house, Axel was cut, and fire came with it, fire blocked the exits, and Axel ran through it, and Jumped into the well in the middle of the village. It was confirmed, Fiore was dead. One of the men had taken his body out of the fire. Axel searched through the ash, and nothing. Nothing of Fiores creations survived. He cried out in agony and sadness. He wept for Fiore. Many months went by, And Axel was the only Runist, he made many defenses, Like an archer's tower, that worked with a click of a button. This certainly came in handy when a group of Xitans came along, wanting to destroy the people of the village. The Runic archer tower Killed them all easily, given it was a small group of Xitans, maybe 4 or 5 of them. He was named the Runic warrior in the small community. But soon, he ran out of resources to make defensive machines. He was 18. Time went on, and for a few years, Nobody came to the village. Until he was 24, a Messenger came to tell that the Civil war was over. From the time he was 18 until he was 24, He hunted again, and got stronger, and Made dyes from flowers. He became the main support of the village. He was seen as the Leader. From there, Axel traveled to mainland, leaving the village forever. He Got to mainland. It was a wasteland of bodies, lost in the civil war. He found a place in the mainland. He worked as a Runist in the mainland. He got paid to make Defensive Machines in case the Xitans were to bring war into the Middle Realm. He did so for years, and when he was 28, He was working on Fiore's weapon, the explosive cannon. Explosive Cannons had been made before, but this one was different, it had the power to send out 3 explosives at once. He finished it, and left it to the Alliance. He went on to a Place known as Alroc. Now Axel is 29, and has his own workshop in Alroc. He is Nervous around most of the people there, and misses the people in his old village.
